- Scottish National Legends
- Colin Smart, aka Cresta Racing, target being the first team car to score more Championship points than the individual Champion, something never before achieved or been near.
- The Championship moved to a new tyre type for 2024, supplied by Nankang. After a brainstorming session, I supplied 3 different tyre profiles for Cresta Racing to test. After a day’s testing at Anglesey, the strategy and profile were selected. Fronts were one profile, whilst the rears were another.
- Cresta Racing running 2 cars, 1 with a rookie in and 1 with 3 different drivers to cover all the events.
Target achieved with multiple wins and podiums for the rookie and the team car. The team car beat the individual champion by 395 points. The first time ever done in over 30 years of Scottish Legends Championship.
- Historic Racing
- Midland Tyre Shaving was only able to work with 4 cars for Goodwood Revival. 2 of the cars put on what is described by many as the best RAC Club TT Celebration race ever.
- The TVR Griffith of Mike Whitaker/Tom Ingram and the AC Cobra with Ollie Bryant and Jake Hill as pilots, were running unique tyre profiles machined by Midland Tyre Shaving.
Finishing 1st and 2nd. - The only other Historic tyres Midland Tyre Shaving was able to work with were on the Julian Thomas AC Cobra that took part in the Gentleman Drivers Race at the Spa 6 Hour Event. Taking the lead of the race on lap 7, going on to win the 28-lap race, including taking an extra pit stop.

This was a multi-class event with UK and European Spec class cars.
The winner of the UK Spec car was number 347, the J W Bird Motorsport entry, with drivers Nick Beaumont, Paul O’Neill and Phil House winning the UK Spec class and finishing 5th overall. The only car Midland Tyre Shaving Limited supplied tyres to.
The next UK Spec car in the event finished 7 laps behind.
- 5 Club Racing
- The deal was for Midland Tyre Shaving to supply every participant with identical profiled tyres to the Championship.
- This has been a factor in 5 Club having its best grid numbers of recent times, and many inquiries for 2025.
- Hence, Midland Tyre Shaving will continue for the foreseeable future supplying a product that’s good in the dry and the wet.
